Lucid Dream
top article at digg recently: How to Lucid Dream
I haven’t read the article itself, but it’s sOoo trippy reading all the comments!
I remember when i was little, I had a sort of “lucid dream” in the sense that i was perfectly aware that i was in a dream. i was very young (like 6-7 years old) and i just wanted to wake up from the dream because i was scared i wouldn’t wake up. i remember my maid at the time was in my dreams, and i kept asking her how to wake up but she kind of shrugged me off and i became more scared. and then for some reason i believed that if i jump high enough i will get out of the dream, so i spent the whole dream jumping around while screaming “wake up wake up”. yeah, very boring. i should’ve tried to fly or something. I was seriously scared that I’d be trapped in my dreams forever, even though it’s apparently physically impossible
the falling sensation, i get that all the time and I’m aware that many people have also experienced it. kind of annoying because i’d wake up all nervous with my heart beating fast… and if you’re sleeping with someone else you’d probably wake that other person too. i also get that dream where you dream about future events, but i think that’s just a fluke. it’s kinda like that deja vu feeling… just one of the mysteries of human brain.
so my wife Serena is working at google for two weeks for their tax return stuff. i am extremely jealous. she’s giving me a description of the google campus right now. did i mention i am jealous?
