… sounding like a total alkie, i’m gonna list my favorite girlie drinks to order when i go out drinking. probably useful if you’re one of those girls who have just turned 21 and doesn’t know what to order yet (i went through that phase and no one held my hands! T_T)

• Amaretto Sour – my absolute favorite! I forgot how I heard about this drink, but i introduced it to many other girls and they all LoVEd it. it’s a very simple and light drink so you wouldn’t get drunk off it unless you’re really weak. as the name indicates, it has Amaretto (Almond liquor) and Sweet and Sour mix in it.
• Sex on the Beach – it varies from bartender to bartender, but usually it has pineapple juice and peach liquor. i order this a lot because it’s safe, as in… it’s one of the most common drinks and there’s no way anyone can mess it up
• Cosmopolitan – after watching many episodes of Sex and The City, i just HADto try one of these. i loved it! if my memory serves me right, its a mix of vodka, cranberry juice and triple sec (Orange liquor). i learned that not everyone can make a good cosmo, and if they mess it up, it taste pretty crappy.

those three are the ones that i order the most. there are other drinks like Kamikaze (very sour and masks the taste of alcohol well), Tequila Sunrise (substitute for sex on the beach if you like tequila *gag*), Long Island Iced Tea (when you really want to get drunk fast), Adios MotherF*er (I just call it ‘Adios’ because i don’t use the F-word, ever, but it has the same effect as long island and taste slightly better) and the creamier drinks like mudslide, white russian and blow job (this one’s a shot).

and also, tipping. it’s a common knowledge that you tip minimum $1-2 per drink. if you’re not opening a tab, tip as you pay your drinks so the bartender won’t think you’re being cheap and not going to tip.
