Mirabelle on Sunset
I went to Mirabelle for the S.Pellegrino Dine Out. I’m no food critics or fine dining expert, but believe me when i said their food was preeeetty darn good! I had the grilled marinated baby artichoke, bistro flat iron steak and chocolate soufflé with coconut ice cream. i loved everything, but i my favorite has got to be the dessert! i lOVe desserts! it was marvelous from the first bite :D
Kat introduced me to this white wine called Pinot Grigio. I’m normally not a wine person at all (i hate the aftertaste), but this one was really light with a sweet subtle aftertaste. so in the future if i have to have wine, that’s what I’m getting.
I managed to sneak pics of my food. it gets progressively darker because we ate at around 7PM, so by the time we got to the entree it was pretty dark already (the restaurant was semi outdoor)

i freaking lOve the sauce! it taste like cream cheese seasoned with herbs but with the texture of mayonnaise

medium rare bistro flat iron steak. delish~ very well seasoned and juicy

the chocolate soufflé without the ice cream. me and kat decided to put our ice cream in the middle to share since they apparently come with either caramel or coconut ice cream, and the waiter gave us one of each without asking. i’m not much of a caramel person so i like the coconut. she likes caramel, so in the end it works out fine.

uy, who got completely different things than us. he got the crab bisque, the chicken, and the strawberry thingies. i had a bite of his strawberry dessert, which was also good with the flaky crust on top.
