Revamping Paper Hearts

please excuse the mess, i’m trying to get a new layout up =P

ok, so it’s up. but by no means is it done since i’m still working on it and learning more about wordpress as i go along (lookign at the source for hemingway theme helped me a lot). i was really sick of the previous layout so i thought i should just go ahead and put this one up anyways.

a couple things i have in mind:

• adjust the colors so the texts don’t look invisible against the background.
• pretty up the index page more
• add background images so it doesn’t look too plain
• revise the css overrides for lists, blockquotes and text stylings

while doing this i discovered i forgot to install my usual text editor after i reformatted my laptop a couple months ago, and my CD drive is officially dead so i can’t install dreamweaver and had to use notepad all the way. it was pretty painful but a good practice as i am pretty rusty in CSS.
