I heart Halo!

so parts of my DS, whose name is Halo, started coming one by one through the mail since last week. first, i got the DS itself but i couldn’t touch it since I didn’t buy any games. then the R4 came on Monday, and then finally the 2GB micro SD on Tuesday. R4 is the adapter I use that allows me to play ROM, movies and mp3s on my DS (although you can pretty much guess what I mostly use it on).

I got a bunch of games, such as:

• FF3 – i have spent about 5-6 hours playing so far. I’m not sure how I like this game. I have a love/hate relationship with the job system, definitely HATE how there’s NO save point whatsoever in the game and none of the characters appeal to me. but i’ll continue playing just because it’s Final Fantasy.
• Nintendogs – I ♥ this game!! I have a cute male black lab named grecky and my throat is sore from yelling out commands for about an hour today… but I taught him how to spin!
• Mario Kart – fun but WAYYY too easy compared to the game cube one I used to play with Kat
• Contra 4 – haven’t played much at all, but i suck so far. i used to be so good at this game when i was young!
• Brain Age – I play this on daily basis. My Brain age was 47, then 36, and today i got 21 *big smile* the lowest possible age is 20! I got Brain Age 2 as well, but haven’t spent too much time on it
• Tetris DS – as fun as tetris gets. i’m just trying to get past lvl 12 and beat my own personal record
• Zelda: Phantom Hourglass – i’ve only played about 30 mins of this game, but it’s pretty fun so far. this will be the first Zelda game i’ve ever played. i know, i know… for a videogame enthusiast such as myself i’m ashamed to admit i’ve never played any Zelda game ;(

… and a bunch others I haven’t had the chance to touch yet. i was like a kid in a candy store when i went to the ROM site! x_x anyways, when i said my visitor count are on their way back to normal, i was wrong. they’ve just starting to get back to normal two days ago… here’s an updated screenshot:

so far i’ve used up the 4GB bandwidth i bought, so i got another 4GB. seems like i won’t be needing it though
