Pretty Desserts!
ever since the last entry, my sleeping schedule has been so messed up… in a good way. i sleep at around 10PM and wake up at 6AM :D
I went to Amandine recently, which is a tiny french cafe on Wilshire blvd between Bundy and Centinela. It’s a cute place and seemed to have asian owner since most guests were asian and the server was asian as well… but i may be wrong. i thought their dessert was just whatever but really really pretty!
Cheesecake (i think it was plain cheesecake), Chocolate Raspberry (this one is really good!) and Strawberry Mousse. I took pretty crappy pics but i was really hungry.
close up of the cheesecake. the graham cracker crust on the bottom is flavored with almond, so it was really good. that was the best part of the whole thing. the cheesecake itself was a bit too fluffy for my taste
on the way back someone flashed me. i think he was homeless. it was like full-frontal flash… as in, i saw EVERYTHING. omg, i’m scarred for life pretty much… those cakes are so not worth it. :’(
