Beautiful World

my current favorite song… by none other than the J-pop queen herself, Utada Hikaru. Thank God she’s making good music again :) this one apparently came out last year, but i’ve been pretty out of it when it comes to asian entertainment so i only heard it recently when i finally listened to her newest album (which is just a compilation of her singles over the past year or so).

and also apparently, it’s the song for a new evangelion movie?? i had no idea they even made a new one. evangelion is one of the classic anime so it’s not surprising there’s another movie for it, but still… it has been awhile (over 10 years?) since the series came out!

I really like the part when she goes “moshimo negai hitotsu dake kanau nara” (the first verse basically).
