Margarita Monday

i took my sister to Acapulco’s infamous Margarita Monday. however, unlike most people, our main purpose were not to drink margaritas for cheap… but rather to eat the heavenly monstrosity that is the sampler plate at 50% off!

can you believe these were only $5 a plate?? :D it has everything you can possibly ask for in a mexican restaurant: nachos, taquitos, quesadilla, buffalo wings, etc etc. as you can see we pretty much polished off the entire plate and washed it down with two margaritas. yummmy~~

anyway, i’ve been sick for the past couple days. as my last entry indicated, i really was coming down with something :( normally i don’t get sick for more than a day but this time i was so sick that i had to take two days off. oh well.. another short week for me. bad news is, i’ve been sleeping so much during the day that i am unable to sleep right now. it’s almost 1AM. i was tossing and turning for a couple hours before i gave up on trying to sleep… so i put on The X-Files pilot episode and will try to go back to sleep after this. I almost can’t believe Gillian Anderson is about my age when she first started The X-Files. she was only 24 years old when she was casted as Scully!!
