Batman!!

so over the past couple days i’ve become increasingly more and more obsessed with Batman. at first i thought it was a mild crush on Christian Bale… but i wasn’t attracted to him when i saw him in The Machinist, The Prestige or 3:10 to Yuma. so i figured it has to be Batman himself that piqued my interest, more specifically Nolan’s interpretation of Batman (the other Batman-s are just not as cool)

I’m giving the other Batman-s a chance though… I caught a showing of Batman Forever the other day on TV, which was pretty entertaining. definitely more light-hearted and comic-book like (for one, it has more color than Nolan’s movies!). for a second i thought Val Kilmer was pretty hot, but then i googled his name and found a more recent picture of him. um yeah, not so much anymore.

Next on my netflix list is Batman Returns, which I had watched when I was little. till this day i still remember Penguin’s scary ass face despite not remembering much about the movie. that guy really scarred me for life or something. then the last Batman movie i want to watch is Batman & Robin, which people have referred to as the worst one of all. i really cannot imagine George Clooney as Bruce Wayne, so that’ll be “interesting” to watch…

one thing for sure though, i cannot wait for Dark Knight to come out on DVD! :D
