Wild Fires

WOW i fail at updating this thing!! :(

anyway, Southern California is pretty much on fire these past couple days. like, literally. i think there were at least three big fires. one was located north of LA, and the other two east of LA. one of them (the one in Brea) was only a couple freeway exits south of Nico’s place. We had a grand ol’ time smelling bonfire everywhere we go.

i snapped this pic of the huge smoke this morning on our way to have breakfast at Panera.

We also went to downtown Brea to watch a movie today. surprisingly there weren’t really any smoke when we went into the movie but it was like silent hill when we walked out because there were so much smoke that it looked like fogs. We watched Quantum of Solace, the new 007 movie… which was a decent movie :)

There were an R&R sample sale this weekend… which of course me and Anna went to. She picked me up at 4:30 AM and we were pretty much in line by 5:00. you may remember my entry about R&R sample sale back in june where i made out like a bandit, but unfortunately the selection sucked this time. my biggest steal that weekend is actually not even jeans. I walked out with this cute shirt for only $20!

they are currently listed as $110 at Revolve, which i think is baloney. $110 for 100% rayon?! pfffffft.. it’s still super cute though! the crystals are swarovski so they glisten under the sun :)

lately i’ve been feeling like there is just not enough hours in one day. i feel like i have so much in my plate and just not enough time to do everything. ever since i start going to the gym, i have to plan my day around it. plus, i get so tired lately so i require more sleep than usual. *sigh*
