Eating Healthy
My mom went for a blood check up the other day and the result says she has high cholesterol so we’ve started consciously eating healthy these past week. We ate stuff like red rice, veggies, white meat, tofu (yum!)… basically stuff that are boiled/steamed and not fried.
I guess it’s good for the body, but I miss big chunky fat fries! this is unrelated to the “diet” though. I haven’t eaten much fries since i got to Indonesia because unlike the states, not many place serve fries unless you purposely go to a western place (or McD’s..)
Anyway here are some rather random pics I’ve just downloaded off my camera:
This nice ass home is located right in front of my office (a golf course). I dunno which rich person owns this place, but it is in construction right now. the decorative trims are painted silver but not in a gaudy way (more like in an “aged metal” feel). the walls of that surrounds the house have pillars with the same silver decoration. today i noticed the workers have put on the front glass for a HUGE two story window around the entrance door, and of course it wasn’t just any ordinary glass. it was nicely decorated with all these gorgeous patterns…
we were stuck in horrible traffic on the way home from work the other day. this was taken right when we’ve just entered the toll way!! so you can imagine just what sort of traffic we were in for. I didn’t get home until 7:30 that day.
today’s weather on the way back from work today. heavy rain as always, but only lasted for about 30 mins or so.
anyway, i’m going to take a break today since i spent all of my Sunday working for a freelance project. all the work was in vain since my client has decided to use a flash gallery, but i don’t mind because i learned a lot yesterday. it never ceases to amaze me how much i still manage to learn about web design every single day!

thats what i love about our job, we can learn new things from our project! xD plus, we can work from home and not to worry about the “age” requirement thing xD

I always read that to become a webdesigner, you must be at least 20-30. Jadi, kalo udah sampe 31, kita ga bisa melamar lagi donk :(
LOL that’s such BS! some of the best web designers out there are definitely older than 30. although i guess by then, their title aren’t exactly “web designer” anymore…
