Quick update

A couple weeks ago I visited Grand Indonesia (again) and found a whole different section of it we haven’t visited before. the mall *is* really big after all.. one floor has these pretty chinese lantern decoration (pictured above) and one floor on the upper part was designed to look like NY/Manhattan area (but i have no pics)

saw a really pretty wedding dress.. i forgot which store it was. i love the subtle pink and the flowy bottom part! plus the model is quite pretty

that week i was really sick with some sort of food poisoning and could not eat for awhile. finally i was able to eat again, and i found a korean place on the basement floor of Grand indonesia. immediately ordered (of course) dolsot bibimbap :). that was my first real meal in about three days…

it tasted different from what i’m used to, but i suppose it was good. they put what tasted like sambal to me. it gives the dish a touch of indonesian taste.

and this is why i have not been posting lately. i’ve been pretty much living on the golf course during the Indonesia President Invitational tournament. i’m there from 5AM – 8PM everyday, but it’s all good because i’ve been able to follow some of the greatest golfers Asia has to offer… and they are really good. i followed a great flight yesterday for about 9 holes, comprising of Noh Seung Yul, Lam Chih Bing and James Kamte. that’s about 2 hours of walking… also caught glimpses of a flight with Mardan Mamat and Bae Sang Moon in it, all considered prominent names in the asian golfing scene.
anyway, the picture above is me, my sister, my coworker and the champion of last year’s tournament, Scott Hend!
