Marché @ Vivo City

Date: Sunday, July 18, 2010 Categories: dining out

A few weeks ago, my friend Parissa recommended this swiss restaurant at Somerset. The name sounds oddly familiar, I thought, then it occurred to me that I’ve passed by this place a few times but never actually stopped by. There is another branch located on the roof top of Vivo City, which is the one Will and I went to this Saturday.

Much like Shoukudo, you’re given a scan card upon arrival, which are then used every time you order a dish from their individual stalls. Everything is reasonably priced, but the set up of the place reminds you of a buffet so if you’re not careful you can easily rack up your bill!

160gr grilled chicken breast (SGD6.90) with oven baked potato (SGD2.80). they were freshly grilled in front of you and yummy. I can’t complain!

Cream of mushroom soup (SGD4.90) – wasn’t very good. I’d skip this next time

Crepe of the day (SGD7.50) with Moevenpick strawberry ice cream (SGD4.90). The crepe is made to order from mint batter with strawberry spread and fresh fruit toppings. so delish but i’ll have to skip on the ice cream next time. I was being greedy…

funky root beer bottle!

a shot of the place. i know it looks very empty but there were actually quite a few people there.
