J-pot @ Vivo City
Got together with a few friends for a late dinner at J-pot @ Vivo City last night… ok, not a few. There were so many of us that we occupied the biggest round table in the middle of the room!

We were seated a bit late (booked for 9pm) since the people before us, who had been there since 7pm did not stop eating and wouldn’t leave even though the rest of the party had left and there were only four of them still sitting on the table. yes, that big round table pictured above. In the end we all had to slowly occupy the empty seats and slowly edge them out of the table.

The place lets you mix your own dipping sauce, where you can pick a mix of things such as peanuts, sesame seeds, garlic, roasted garlic, chives, peanut sauce, chili and soy sauce. I went crazy on the peanut sauce since they were so good! you can see my sauce on the bottom right corner.

There were many ingredients present. Lots of meat, veggies, all kinds of noodles and seafood. My favorite was the fried tofu skin!! It can’t be very healthy, but it sure is yummy. I didn’t take very many pictures during the night because I was busy eating, but here’s one that I did take because I thought it was so cute!

Raw meat with mini quail eggs on top. You mix this and then it goes in the hot boiling pot of soup.
