Lazy Sunday

Harry’s @ Boat Quay

Had a relaxing lunch by the river…

Half a pint of Erdinger, only S$7 during happy hour! My gripe about Singapore is that the weather is so hot that your beer gets warm very quickly. So you either down your drink fast or be left with warm beer and some beers do NOT taste good warm :(

Harry’s Fish & Chips (S$16)
Deep fried battered dory with crispy chips and tartare sauce

Fish and Chips is quite possibly my favorite western food! :9 Harry’s fish and chips was just alright though.. nothing to write home about. My favorite fish and chips in Singapore has to be from The Rotisserie – quite cheap at $11 too!

BeanSTRO @ Marina Bay Sands

While we’re on the subject of food, this was taken last week at BeanSTRO at Marina Bay Sands. Yummy bread pudding with excellent presentation! I almost didn’t want to eat it because it looks so pretty!

BeanSTRO is coffee bean’s attempt at a cozy family cafe. Combine their smack dab middle of Marina Bay Sands location and Singaporean’s penchant for queuing, you can expect some wait time if you plan to stop by here on weekends.

Adidas All 24

My agency held a 24 hour adidas event at SCAPE* this weekend, so we headed down for a bit to show our support:

It’s basically an all-day graffiti missions, skate challenges, football, basketball, dance and fashion. It was pretty happening when I headed down at 5PM :)

How cool are these graffitis?? all done within the course of 24 hours!
