365 project fail

Yeah, so as you can see I attempted a 365 project. That is, one photo per day for one whole year. Except the idea doesn’t work so well when I spend most of my time in an office and always forgets to bring my camera to lunch, the only time during the day that I step out of the office. Regardless, I actually do take at least one picture a day, just that I feel they are not really photos worth posting (like do you really want to know what I had for lunch?)

In any case, I’ll switch my goal this year to something more realistic… blog at least once a week! Since my blackberry has wordpress apps now, I should be able to blog more often :)

I also want to bring your attention to the big earthquake in Haiti, as I’m sure most of you are already aware. Haitian need our help now, more than ever. The next time you are out buying something that isn’t of absolute necessity, consider donating it instead (Try asking yourself: do you really need a new pair of shoes? do you really have to choose that pricier entree at dinner? Or that calorie-ridden starbucks coffee?). My favorite place to donate is Global Giving (link is on the sidebar), but of course you can choose other charities as well.

Testing the wordpress app I’ve just installed on blackberry. Looking pretty cool so far, except I wish there is more control for pictures (ability to specify sizes we want to resize, where to add pics, etc). I had to go and edit this post on the dashboard since 640×480 is too big for my layout.

In any case, let me share you what I had for lunch:

Nasi padang. A bit sweeter than what I’m used to back home, but it’s alright. I’m going through this phase of missing foods from LA today… Like Chipotle chicken burrito, boston market, bibimpap from tofu-ya, etc.
